My name is Nadia Milleron. I have lived in MA District 1 for 25 years, working as a farmer, activist and mother of four. I am running to bring true representation to the people of the First Congressional District, and not representation bought and sold by corporate interests.

Our daughter’s shocking death on a Boeing 737 MAX in 2019 led me to advocate for the national bi-partisan Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act, passed unanimously by Congress in December 2020. Because Boeing was located in Illinois, I spearheaded the 2023 overthrow of a terrible Illinois state law that allowed juries to punish corporations that willfully injure people, but not to punish corporations that knowingly kill people. 

Successful contribution to these changes in law for people, mentoring by my uncle, Ralph Nader and my husband, Michael Stumo, along with extensive networks of effective community leaders, taught me that it’s possible to strategically challenge power and win! I bring focused intensity and a strong network to fight for the people of MA District 1. Together, we can exercise our democratic power and raise a full scale challenge to the corporate power that dominates Capitol Hill.
